Note - These injections are normally done by Ultrasound Guidance to assure accurate placement. While hyaluronic acid can be added to PRP therapies and cortisone shot, Cortisone Shot CAN NOT be used a month before- after the PRP therapy

Cortisone (Kenalog) Injections:
- Cortisone shots are powerful synthetic corticosteroid medications designed to provide rapid, localized relief from pain and inflammation caused by various musculoskeletal conditions. Commonly utilized for ailments such as
osteoarthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, and rotator cuff injuries, these injections work by calming the body’s localized immune response directly at the source of distress. While highly effective at restoring a patient's range of motion and creating a crucial "window of opportunity" to comfortably participate in physical therapy, they do not cure the underlying physical injury.
Hyaluronic acid (Hyalgan®- Synvisc®) injections
- Hyaluronic acid injections help improve joint lubrication and cushioning, which may reduce pain and stiffness associated with osteoarthritis and other degenerative joint conditions. By enhancing the natural shock-absorbing properties of joint fluid, these injections can support smoother movement, improve mobility, and help patients maintain an active lifestyle when appropriately selected.
