Shahram (“Shawn") Khorshidi , MD
Board Certified Physician - Medical Director
Dr Shahram (Shawn) Khorshidi is a board certified family physician. He completed his medical residency at UC San Francisco School of Medicine (NMC). Dr K has additional trainings in Regenerative Medicine & Platelet Rich Plasma, Ultrasound guided Joint injection from University of California San Diego Medical School, and Advance Cosmetic & Aesthetic Medicine.
Since 2009, Dr.K has been a volunteer faculty of UC San Diego School of Medicine and UCSD Free Clinic. He enjoys teaching and interacting with medical students.
Dr.K has more than two decades of experience in clinical medicine, aesthetic/cosmetic, Platelet Rich Plasma therapy, and Ultrasound Guided Joint and Tendon Injections. He is particularly invested and has additional certification and training in performing high quality regenerative medicine therapies, especially in double spin Platelet Rich Plasma injections for both Medical/Musculoskeletal and Aesthetic conditions and Hair Loss.
Dr. K insures he is utilizing the most innovative and effective therapies in treating his patients. He strongly believes in natural approaches to healing, and in rejuvenating medicine like platelet rich plasma therapy, exosomes and related feilds.
By opening SD PRP Clinic, where PRP and regenerative therapy injections are the main offered services, Dr.K is determined to offer the best quality regenerative and PRP therapy to our patients which is processed and done by well trained board certified provider(s).
When not in the office, Dr. K enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, swimming and traveling.
